Roger Federer stormed into the final of the Australian Open with a devastating straight-sets win over Juan Carlos Ferrero.

The Swiss player produced his usual array of sparkling winners and power serving to overwhelm the Spaniard 6-4 6-1 6-4 in 89 minutes.
