Grosjean knocked out in five-set thriller

Sebastien Grosjean of France was knocked out of the first round of the US Open on Monday by Ramon Delgado of Paraguay.

Grosjean, a semi-finalist at Wimbledon earlier this year, lost the first set but hit back to take the next two and looked to be favourite to progress.

But Delgado battled back to take the final two sets to win a five-set thriller, 6-4 6-7 (3-7) 4-6 7-6 (7-9) 6-4.
