Federer: It's incredible

Roger Federer was getting accustomed today to being compared with Pete Sampras.

The 21-year-old from Basle became the first Swiss man to win the Wimbledon singles trophy when he dispatched Australia’s Mark Philippoussis 7-6 6-2 7-6 yesterday in a performance which had tennis experts drooling over his all-court game and speculating how many Grand Slam titles he might eventually secure.
