Germany's Alexander Popp and France's Sebastien Grosjean have made fine starts to their quarter-finals at a rain-delayed Wimbledon today.

Popp has won the first set of his match against Mark Philippoussis of Australia 6-4.

Meanwhile 13th seed Grosjean held off Tim Henman's fightback to win the first set of his quarter-final 7-6 after a tie-break (10-8).
