Davenport coming to terms with clay

Lindsay Davenport felt she was “lucky” to book her place in the third round of the French Open with a 7-5 6-1 win over Uzbekistan’s Iroda Tulyaganova.

Davenport has captured Wimbledon, US Open and Australian Open titles and seeks victory at Roland Garros to complete her personal Grand Slam.
