Clijsters sets up Venus showdown
Kim Clijsters cruised into the semi-finals of the WTA Championships with a comfortable 6-2 6-1 victory over Justine Henin.
Clijsters completed her third win over her fellow countrywoman in four meetings this year.
She said: "I think I was consistent throughout the whole match. I didn't have a period where I started to make a little more errors.
"I think that was the main key. I feel more comfortable playing indoors."
And Henin admitted: "Maybe that's the worst I ever played against her. But she played solid, for sure.
"She played a good match and she played well in the last tournaments in the last three months. She played much better than me, and she's in the semi-finals."
Clijsters will meet second seed Venus Williams in the last four after she beat Monica Seles 7-5 6-4.
Venus, the second seed, is still on track to meet her sister Serena in the final.
Williams was made to battle all the way by Seles who broke her in both of the sets only to break back and win them both.
