Carlos Moya defended his Croatia Open title, defeating qualifier David Ferrer in the finals 6-2 6-3.
Moya cruised through the tournament, losing only two sets in 10 matches.
But Ferrer also had a quite a ride in Umag. In the first round, he ousted top-seed and Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian.
