Lleyton Hewitt has won the Wimbledon men's singles title today, beating Argentina's David Nalbandian in straight sets.

Australian Hewitt cruised the victory, winning the first set 6-1, the second 6-3 and the third 6-2 in a one-sided affair.

Hewitt is the first Australian to win the title since Pat Cash in 1987. He dropped just two sets on his way to winning the title.
