Henman Surges into Semis
Tim Henman has claimed a place in the semi-finals having defeated Andre Sa of Brazil in four sets, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
Henman took the first set, 6-3, yesterday. However, rain and bad light halted play, forcing the conclusion of the match to be fought out today.
Henman got off to a nervous start when he dropped the second set, 7-5. He managed to regain form in the third set to regain the advantage.
In the final set, he captured the break early on and served for the match at 5-3. Despite double faulting on the first point, Henman held onto serve to book a place in the semi-finals for the fourth time.
He will now meet either Lleyton Hewitt or Sjeng Schalken.
