Ireland's Ciarán Power moved a step closer to winning the FBD Milk Rás as he finished second to Britain's Chris Newton in today's penultimate stage.

Ireland's Ciarán Power moved a step closer to winning the FBD Milk Rás as he finished second to Britain's Chris Newton in today's penultimate stage.

Today's stage brought the riders from Arklow and Baltinglass.

Now Power looks likely of repeating his win of 1998 as he holds a 4:02 minute lead going into tomorrow's final stage.
