Henman to face Blanco
Tim Henman will face clay court specialist Galo Blanco in the first round of the French Open next week.
Blanco has won only four matches on the ATP Tour this season but reached the fourth round at Roland Garros last year.
The 25-year-old Spaniard beat Pete Sampras in straight sets in the second round before bowing out at the hands of eventual semi-finalist Sebastien Grosjean in the last 16.
Henman, awarded his highest-ever seeding of sixth, could meet Grosjean in the fourth round with a possible quarter-final clash with Marat Safin or Andy Roddick.
However the British number one will have to surpass his best ever display in the French capital to get that far, having never previously got past the third round in six attempts.
