Sailing: Admiral's Cup to be staged in Ireland

The Admiral’s Cup is to be reinstated in Ireland in 2003.

The world’s premier offshore showpiece, previously staged at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, was cancelled in 2001 because of a lack of entries.

The reinstated event will take place in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin in what is expected to be a major boost for the area.
