Seventh seed Yevgeny Kafelnikov became the biggest casualty of the men’s draw today when he was beaten in four sets by Argentinian baseliner Guillermo Canas.

Kafelnikov, a former Australian and French Open champion and Wimbledon quarter-finalist in 1995, went down 3-6 6-1 6-3 7-6 on Court Two.
