Tim Henman made a flying start with a crushing opening victory in Britain'smust-win Davis Cup clash with Portgual in Birmingham.

Henman defeated Tiago Vinhas de Sousa 6-2 6-1 6-1 in just 78 minutes at the National Indoor Arena to give the home side a 1-0 lead in the Euro/African Zone Group One clash.
