Tennis: Leconte overcomes Hlasek at KPMG Challenge

Henri Leconte has beaten Jacob Hlasek 5-7 7-5 10-5 in their group A round robin clash at the KPMG Seniors Challenge at the Point Depot.

The result rules out Hlasek, who was already beaten by Bjorn Borg yesterday, from making the semi-finals of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Ireland's Davis Cup team of Scott Barron and Owen Casey today lost their third doubles game in a row, this time against Mikael Pernfors and Jeremy Bates.
