Linda our marathon best

Linda Byrne was the highest-placed Irish woman in the marathon, finishing in 66th place.

She clocked 2:37.13 in the rain on the looped course around central London which finished at The Mall.

Ava Hutchinson was just four seconds and two places behind while Catriona Jennings crossed the line in 107th.
