Breen on the charge in Sweden

Irish driver, Craig Breen (22) is second in the S-WRC registered competitors at Rally Sweden after yesterday’s nine stages.

He trails category rival, PG Andersson (Proton Satria) — on home ground — by two minutes and 7.7 seconds. The Waterford ace managed to beat Andersson on the fourth stage and later in the afternoon, moved into second of the S-WRC contenders.

Breen, who spun on SS9, is 16th in general classification. Wexford’s Eamonn Boland (Mitsubishi) is 40th overnight.
