Jordan urges F1 unity

FORMULA ONE boss Eddie Jordan has urged his counterparts to bury the “in-house fighting” and unite to agree a new rule book for the good of the sport.

The build-up to the Australian Grand Prix has been overshadowed by an ugly war of words between Minardi boss Paul Stoddart and McLaren supremo Ron Dennis.

The pair fell out over plans to set up a ‘fighting fund’ to keep Formula One’s smaller teams in business, with Dennis arguing the move was not permitted as part of the Concorde Agreement, the sport’s secret rule book
