Cars in the park

Irish Ferries has agreed to be the sponsors of the special historic race which will be the centrepiece of this year’s Phoenix Park Motor Races, due to be held 17-18 July.

The race has been set up to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first Irish Grand Prix which was held in the Phoenix Park in 1929.

The Irish Ferries sponsored race will feature many historic cars from the golden era of motorsport. Great interest has been shown in the event from overseas competitors and it is expected that the event will feature cars not seen in Ireland for many years.
