Nugent knockout

Karen Nugent, the number 6 seed at this week’s $10,000 Futures Tournament in Felixstowe, lost out in the quarter-finals to England’s Hannah Collin.

Yesterday morning, Nugent went back on court in her rain-stopped match against Russia’s Alla Kudryavtseva and won 5-7 6-3 6-2.

But Collin claimed the place in the semi-finals, beating Nugent 6-3 6-4.
