O'Brien falls behind in Tour of Britain

Kanturk's Paidi O'Brien lost valuable time on the overall standings on the Tour of Britain stages around Yorkshire yesterday.

Holme Moss and Snake Pass are two very formidable climbs, and they dented the hopes of an outright win in the Tour of Britain for the Irish participants during yesterday’s second stage.

Philip Deignan from Letterkenny kept the Irish interest in touch when he managed to finish in 20th place behind Mauricio Ardila of the Chocolade Jacques team.
