Macarthur in Record bid

Ellen Macarthur yesterday passed the 15,000 mile mark on her solo non-stop round the world record attempt.

The British yachtswoman was yesterday 2 days 12 hours 19 minutes ahead of record holder Joyon as she passed 530 miles south, south east of Chatham Island.
