Queenan honoured

FORMULA IRELAND racing driver Emmet Queenan from Roscommon has been selected as Motorsport Ireland Young Racing Driver for June.

He joins previous winners, Charlie Donnelly and Eoin Murray, as a contender for the Dunlop Sexton Young Racing Driver of the Year award and a first prize of €32,000.

His selection follows impressive outings in the Formula Ireland series in Mondello Park in late June when he finished first and third to add to his win two weeks earlier at the same venue.
