O’Hara moves to Shell Kinetic

Reigning Formula Ireland Champion John O’Hara has signed for Shell Kinetic Racing in the Asian Formula 3 series.

O’Hara touched down in the Philippines capital, Manila, yesterday to finalise terms to drive a Dallara-Toyota in this year’s championship which begins in Batangas, Philippines next week.

“I am excited about racing here in Asia especially in the Philippines next week,” says O’Hara, a winner of 12 races, two premier championships and a Leinster Trophy race in the past three seasons.

“The weather is really hot and the tracks are very challenging so I have to be in best shape for me to win here. I know the Drivers are all of very high skill level so this will really be a good challenge for me.”
