Ireland to playoff with Britain in Federation Cup

ireland take on Britain today in a promotion playoff tie at the Federation Cup European/Africa Zone Grp 2 tournament in Malta after beating Latvia in the last of their group ties to lie second to Luxembourg.

Yesterday’s two singles ties decided the match with Latvia.

Yvonne Doyle beat Liga Dekmeijere 7-5 6-4 and Kelly Liggan beat Anzela Zguna 6-3 6-4.
