Liggan wins at ITA tournament

Kelly Liggan knocked out Swedish top seed Sofia Arvidsson to win through to the quarter-finals of the $25,000 ITA tournament in Glasgow.

Arvidsson had won their two previous meetings but yesterday Liggan stormed back down to take the match 4-6 7-5 7-5.
