Wright stuff in Las Vegas

America’s Ronald ‘Winky’ Wright produced a boxing masterclass to easily outpoint Felix Trinidad of Puerto Rico in a WBC middleweight title eliminator in Las Vegas.

Former world light-middleweight champion Wright controlled the contest throughout behind his superb southpaw jab and a rock-solid defence.

Scores of 120-107 and 119-108 twice were returned as Winky earned the right to face undisputed middleweight kingpin Bernard Hopkins.
