Gronholm win ends Loeb’s domination

PEUGEOT driver Marcus Gronholm finally ended Sebastien Loeb’s World Rally Championship dominance as he claimed victory on home territory in the Rally Finland yesterday.

Finn Gronholm finished a comfortable one minute 6.7 seconds ahead of Loeb to clinch his maiden victory of the season, his first since winning the same event last year.

Gronholm’s team-mate Markko Martin took third place ahead of Subaru’s Petter Solberg.
