Lynch wins in Dungarvan

Denis Lynch won the Kelly Pharmacy GP in Dungarvan yesterday.

Ten riders broke away on the first of three climbs up Collegan Hill. Ciaran Power kept the pace alive and, as a result, the group stamped its authority on the event.

But, in the dash to the finishing line it was Lynch who powered away to clock up a deserving victory prior to lining out for the Irish team in the FBD Milk RÁS which starts on Sunday.
