Wimbledon to be shown on TG4

TG4 has secured the exclusive Irish television coverage rights of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for the next three years.

Between June 20 and July 3, the station will show all the major action from Centre Court, Court One plus regular updates from all the other matches around the All English Lawn Tennis Club.

The Irish language station will also broadcast a nightly hour long highlights programme during the fortnight. Commentary will be provided by Aoife Ní Thuairisg and Brian Tyers.
