Heffernan and Loughnane declared team leaders

Robert Heffernan and Olive Loughnane will lead the Irish teams for the European Race Walking Cup in Miskolc, Hungary, on Saturday, May 21.

However, the team has been weakened considerably by the absence of 2003 World 20km silver medallist, Gillian O’Sullivan.

The junior team is led by former World Youth silver medallist Ann Loughnane.
