Rory McIlroy was awarded the prestigious green jacket on Sunday after he finally won the Masters, but that's not the only reward he will receive for his efforts.
McIlroy will also receive a significant amount of prize money after he finally completed golf's grand slam, but just how much does get? And what are these other rewards the Northern Irishman will now get?
Well, along with the green jacket and the cheque for a whopping $4.2m (€3.7m), there are actually 15 other benefits to winning the Masters at Augusta National.
The other obvious ones are that McIlroy will now have his name engraved on The Masters trophy and he will also get a replica of the trophy to keep forever, but the Holywood native will also get a Masters gold medal and gold locket to remember the achievement.
It’s really cool that Augusta National allows so much behind the scenes footage of the Masters. Rory walking around the Champions Locker Room is so cool. There’s so much history within that property 🙌

McIlroy will also recieve an invitation to The Masters Champions Dinner, which takes place in the lead-up to the tournament and ahead of the 2026 Masters, he will get to decide what's on the menu. It will also be the night he gets his hands on the locket.
While on the Sunday before the Masters tees off next year, McIlroy will be granted permission to bring a guest along to play the course, with 2024 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler deciding to bring his mother along last week.
Another perk he will enjoy ahead of future Masters tournaments is access to a champions-only range, which is more private than their other facilities, as well as access to the Champions Locker Room, although due to the small space, those lockers are shared.
In terms of playing at the venue, McIlroy will now have an honourary membership to Augusta and a lifetime invitation to The Masters, while he will also get 100 OWGR points and 750 FedEx Cup points.Â
He also has a five-year major exemption and a five-year PGA Tour exemption. The exemptions mean McIlroy has an automatic spot at all majors as well as the PGA Tour for the next five years, regardless of performance. Although, the likelihood of McIlroy needing to qualify for these is slim.
All in all, not a bad weekend's work for McIlroy. And much deserved.
