Golf Ireland CEO Mark Kennelly is hopeful Rory McIlroy's success will lead to the growth of participation in golf across the country.

Golf Ireland were keen to extend its congratulations to McIlroy after his thrilling play-off victory at The Masters, seeing the Holywood native become the first European to claim the career Grand Slam.
