Sara Byrne sits in a tie for second place heading into the final round of the Lalla Meryem Cup.

The Cork golfer is among three players in a share of second place on five-under-par after 36 holes at the Ladies European Tour season opener, alongside Spain’s Nuria Iturrioz, and Germany’s Helen Briem, after all fired rounds of 69 (-4).
