Lauren Walsh is one shot of the joint leaders at the Lacoste Ladies Open De France in Deauville with Sara Byrne sitting five shots off after their opening rounds.

Walsh got off to a flying start hitting a birdie on the first and second before dropping a shot with a bogey on the third. She hit her second bogey on the fifth before hitting three birdies in a row on eight, nine and ten.
