McKibbin enjoying experience of tricky US Open course

Eager to take full advantage of experiencing his first weekend in his first major championship, Tom McKibbin fought back from 3-over at the turn with two back-nine birdies on Saturday to shoot 71 in the third round of the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2.

“Yeah, I played very nice,” said McKibbin, who is 6-over through three rounds.
