Opening round tee times for USPGA at Valhalla

Rory McIlroy wil start from the tenth at 1.15 pm Irish time Thursday in the season's second major - in a threesome immediately behind Tiger Woods

Starting times for the PGA Championship came out Tuesday afternoon, and the three Irish major winners in the field will each play with some major-winning peers in the first two rounds at Valhalla Golf Club.

Rory McIlroy with be off first from the No. 10 tee at 1.15 pm Irish time Thursday with Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose. They play in the threesome immediately behind Tiger Woods, Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley.

Shane Lowry goes out in the afternoon wave off the 10th at 6.18 pm Irish time with Jason Day and Ryder Cup teammate Nicolai Højgaard.

Pádraig Harrington heads off 10 as well in the third-to-last group at 7:35 pm Irish time with Americans Patrick Reed and Sam Burns.

Leading off the 106th PGA Championship from the first tee will be last year’s club professional darling Michael Block, hitting the opening tee shot at 12:15 pm Irish time playing with European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and 2003 PGA champion Shaun Micheel.
