Rory McIlroy produced an impressive six-under final round of 65 to be crowned the Wells Fargo champion for the fourth time in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

McIlroy outlasted American Xander Schauffele down a sensational back nine at Quail Hollow to win by five shots, and in doing so, secured back-to-back PGA Tour victories after his Zurich Championship win in New Orleans alongside good friend Shane Lowry.
