Sugrue shoots into lead in Italy on return after nine-month hiatus

Cork golfer James Sugrue has put a nine-month hiatus behind him in the best way possible in Italy this week. 

27-year-old Sugrue carded a six-under 64 to surge to the top of the leaderboard after the first round of Alps Tour’s Memorial Giorgio Bordoni in Como.
