As state of the Masters press conferences go, this year’s with club chairman Fred Ridley was a relatively sleepy affair. 

There were no bombshell proclamations about course or eligibility changes or new initiatives like the Asia-Pacific and Latin America amateurs or the Masters week expansions like the women and junior events preceding the Masters at Augusta National.
