Rory McIlroy eager for more practice time after disappointing finish to round two of the Players Championship

Rory McIlroy beat a hasty retreat after signing a scorecard that would give any professional ulcers.

“I’ve got to go to the driving range before it gets dark,” McIlroy said with nearly a full hour of daylight left before sunset at TPC Sawgrass.
