Sara Byrne continues impressive run of form at World Amateurs

Sara Byrne has continued her fine form at Abu Dhabi Golf Club today. 

Douglas golfer Sara Byrne says her confidence is sky high as she took on the Round 1 field and raced into a lead Wednesday in the World Amateur Team Championship.

She posted an impressive opening round of 68 at the Espirito Santo Trophy and she lay on -4, looking for an unprecedented success alongside Beth Coulter (Kirkistown Castle) and Áine Donegan (Lahinch).
