Golf chiefs say restrictions are something 'we regret, but also accept'

Irish golfing chiefs have said the government's decision to close all courses under Level 5 restrictions is 'one that we regret, but also accept.'

On Thursday night, officials from the GUI and ILGU issued a statement on the matter to members nationwide. It comes on the back of widespread anger from golfers and clubs at the move which prohibits courses from opening for the next six weeks.
