World number two Jordan Spieth surged up the leaderboard at the Dean and Deluca Invitational although Bryce Molder remains the man to catch despite his round being curtailed due to darkness.

Spieth followed up a first round 67 by carding 66 on Friday, where he overcame a poor start on the back nine by flourishing at the turn with birdies on the first, second, fourth and fifth at Colonial Country Club.
