Rory McIlroy surges into lead in Dubai

Rory McIlroy took a major step closer to victory in the DP World Tour Championship and a third Race to Dubai title in four years on Saturday.

McIlroy began the third round four shots behind England’s Andy Sullivan but surged to the top of the leaderboard with eight birdies and one bogey in 15 holes at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
