Disappointing start for McDowell at US Open warm-up

Irish golfer Graeme McDowell had a day to forget on the opening day of the FedEx St Jude Classic at TPC Southwind.

The Portrush golfer had been looking to build some momentum ahead of the second major of the year at Chambers Bay, but carded a 76, including five bogeys, a double bogey and just one birdie to sit on six-over, a tie for 145th.
