Woods drops further back

Tiger Woods made an early move in the final round of the US Open in Philadelphia today – but it was further backwards and came several hours before the leaders were due to tee off at Merion.

A third round of 76 equalled Woods’ highest score in the event as a professional and left him nine over par, 10 shots behind leader Phil Mickelson, who was the only man under par after 54 holes.
