McIlroy drops two shots further behind on front nine

Rory McIlroy has slipped further down the leaderboard at the Wells Fargo Championship in North Carolina.

The world number two has book-ended his opening nine holes at Quail Hollow with bogeys, which means he is now on three under par.

American Russell Henley currently leads on six under.

Meanwhile, Padraig Harrington will start his second round later this evening, but the three-time major winner will start well off the pace on eight over par.
