Bourdy stumble gives hope to chasing pack

France’s Gregory Bourdy gave the chasing pack – Rory McIlroy and Darren Clarke included – a boost when he failed to build on a brilliant start to his Irish Open second round at Royal Portrush today.

Paul McGinley and Rory McIlroy both finished their rounds on five under and Padraig Harrington has just teed off from five under while Darren Clarke and Shane Lowry are already in the clubhouse on four under.
