Win not enough for Westwood to topple McIlroy

Lee Westwood’s successful defence of the Indonesian Masters title was not enough to lift him above Rory McIlroy at the top of the golf world rankings.

Westwood, 39 tomorrow, won back-to-back titles in Asia this time last year, but with another trip to America coming up has decided not to try for a repeat victory at this week’s Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea.
